Nina M. Smith

Nina M. Smith, 77, passed away at home on Wednesday, February 25, 2015.

Nina was born on February 6, 1938 in Hazlehurst, Georgia to the late Lynn and Lattice Anderson McDonald. She retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base and was a dedicated member of Christ Chapel Assembly of God. In Nina's free time, she enjoyed traveling and being a favorite member of the Houston Peaches Lion's Club.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sisters, Geneve Ray and Virginia Cribb.

Nina's memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of 11 years, Thomas Raymond Smith, Sr. of Warner Robins, Georgia; children, Nina Johnson of Maulden, South Carolina, Bruce Yllander of Byron, Georgia, Daniel Yllander of Texas and Sean Yllander of Douglasville, Georgia; thirteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Evelyn Kirkland of Valdosta, Georgia; and a host of adoring nieces and nephews.

Services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Nina M. Smith to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
