Odessa Lee Collier

Odessa Lee Collier, 74, entered into rest on Monday, May 17, 2010.

Mrs. Collier was born on June 24, 1935, in Vernon, Florida. Odessa was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. A homemaker, she loved fishing and spending time with her family and friends. She was Past Senior Regent of the Warner Robins Chapter #1353 Women of the Moose, where she proudly served for many years. Her parents, Barney Franklin Lee and Emma Plair Lee, and siblings, Franklin Lee and Ovida Bryant, all preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving and devoted husband of fifty three years, Robert E. Collier, Byron; children, Denise Durdin (Danny Swartzlander), Warner Robins; Ann Williams (David), Eastman; Robert D. Collier (Debra), Byron; grandchildren, Travis Collier, Thalia "Dee Dee" Castro (Miguel), Justin Pittman (Sabrina), great granddaughter, Callie Pittman; step grandson, Barry Monroe (Jennifer); eight step great-grandchildren; sister, Laura Graham (James); brother, Henry Lee (Carol); special friend, Betty McCoy; and her sweet precious puppy, Bert.

Visitation will be Thursday evening, May 20, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 21, 2010 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
