Olin Edward Anderson

Mr. Olin Edward Anderson, 77, passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2003 at his residence. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 27 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Kids’ Journey, 400 Elberta RD, Warner Robins, GA 31093.

Mr. Anderson was born in Atlanta. He was retired from Atlanta Journal Constitution as a relay driver and was a veteran of three branches of service. In the United States Army, he was awarded Good Conduct, Asiatic-Pacific, Victory WWII, and Occupation (Japan) medals. His service in the United States Navy earned him awards for American Area, National Defense, and Good Conduct with Two Stars. The United States Air Force recognized his service with the Air Force LSA with Two Loops and Good Conduct Medal with Two Loops. He was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Elizabeth Anderson; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Josiah Powell Anderson; son, Alexander Anderson; and daughter; Suzanna Anderson.

Survivors include his son, Christopher Edward Anderson, and daughter-in-law, Leila Anderson, both of Bonaire; and brother, Davies Anderson, Montana.
