Olivia Strickland

Olivia Strickland, 77, passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2018.

Olivia was born on February 5, 1941 in Bainbridge, Georgia to the late Lewis and Estelle Ray. Raised in a military family, she grew up in Jacksonville, Florida and married the love of her life, Harrell Strickland in 1957. As a devoted military wife, she traveled all over the United States with her husband and children. Olivia loved hummingbirds and time spent with her beloved family. Her daughter, Theresa Ann Strickland, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband of 59 years, Harrell Strickland of Warner Robins; children, Tammy Ann Strickland Mimbs (Steven) of Warner Robins, James Allen Strickland (Tammy) of Bonaire; grandchildren, Brandon Mimbs (Kaleigh) of Perry, Casie Mimbs Cutaia (Josh) of Warner Robins; great-grandchildren, Bryton Lee Cutaia, Olivia Faith Cutaia, Sofia Grace Cutaia, Dixie Cutaia, and sister, Patricia Ann Ray Skidmore (Bud) of Edisto Island, South Carolina.

Visitation will be Sunday, June 3, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, June 4, 2018 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Following the service, Olivia will be laid to rest in Andersonville National Cemetery.
