Ollie Faye Martin Hill Rowe

Faye Rowe, age 77, died on Thursday, June 25, 2020.

Faye was born in Macon, Georgia to the late John Robert and Maxie Pearl Martin on February 1, 1943. She retired from Inland Container and later from GEICO where she was a transcriptionist for several years. Faye loved watching NASCAR and football, but also enjoyed reading, especially romance novels. She will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, and “bonus mom” to so many throughout the years, affectionately known to them as Mama Faye.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Gordon Rowe; grandsons, Brandon Lee Choate and Bobby Harbin; and brothers, Carlton Martin and J.R. Martin.

Those left to cherish Faye’s memory are her loving children, Frank Eric Hill (Barbara) and Toni Lyn Drawhorn (Freddie); bonus children, Kevin Rowe and Sheryl Leigh Rowe (A.J. Morris); grandchildren, Duane Smith, Sam Hightower (Will), and Jessie Choate; four great-grandchildren; and sisters, Shelby Cramer and Dianne Humphries.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
