Omega Smith, 80, entered into rest on Monday, May 26, 2008.
Ms. Smith was born on October 7 1927 in Stecker, Oklahoma. She had an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Development and was a Childcare Provider for twenty-five years. She was a member of Southern Hills Church of God in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, but Central Baptist Church was her local church home. She was a widow. Her parents, James C. and Lydia Emaline White, preceded her in death.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughter, Bobbie Morris, Warner Robins, Georgia; son, Gordon D. King, Sr., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; sisters, Naomi Regen, Waco, Texas, and Louise Haley, Medicine Park, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Gordon D. King, Jr., Irving, Texas, Emily L. Denny, Kennesaw, and Rebekah R. Morris, Warner Robins, Georgia.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 29, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 30, 2008 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
