Orville A. Cerka

June 2, 1907 — April 21, 2005

Orville Andrew Cerka, 97, died Thursday, April 21, 2005 at Warner Robins Rehab and Nursing Center. Services will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26 at First Christian Church, Warner Robins with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 25 at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mr. Cerka was born in Huron, South Dakota. He was a member of First Christian Church. He was a retired Automobile Mechanic from the Ford Corporation in Waterloo, Iowa. A resident of Warner Robins since 1979, he enjoyed spending time with his family, square dancing, playing cards, and having fun. Mr. Cerka and his late wife, Sadie Cerka, celebrated 70 years of marriage in June 2003.

In addition to his wife, his parents Benjamin August Cerka and Margurite Angelin Cerka, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his son, Donald E. Cerka (Carolyn), Warner Robins; daughter, Margaret Ann Neveril (Dr. Edward), Oakbrook, IL; son, Richard R. Cerka (Laura), Itasca, TX; nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
