Otis A. Fraser

March 23, 1974 — July 13, 2022

A beloved husband, father, and friend, Otis A. Fraser entered into rest in Macon, Georgia, on Wednesday, July 13, 2022.

On March 23, 1974, in Georgetown, Guyana, a beautiful individual was born to the late Roxanne Morgan and Roland Dow. Otis came to the United States as a young child and completed his formative years in Brooklyn, New York, where he was 1992 graduate of Beach Channel High School. He eventually made his way to Georgia and attended Valdosta State University. There at Valdosta State University, he met his future wife, Ebonie and became a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. He transferred to Georgia State University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management (2003).

After some time, he and Ebonie found their way to each other and shared 11 beautiful years together. From their union, two children (Anthony and Oliver) were born.

Otis enjoyed his career as a Sales Representative at ADT Security. The ten years at ADT allowed him to meet new people and most of all, help people. He had a special way of connecting with people and making sure everyone he met was taken care of and felt important. His heart was enormous. He was so kind and so caring. Always thinking of others first. His ability to have a conversation about anything and everything was one of his many talents. He was an excellent chef, always giving tips on recipes and cooking delicious dishes. He loved listening and dancing to 90’s hip hop, soca/reggae music, traveling, exploring new places, playing cards, and most of all, spending time with Ebonie and their boys.

Above all, he was a dedicated husband to his wife and dedicated father to his two sons.

In addition to his mother, Otis was preceded in death by his sister, Michelle Bolton; and grandmother, Joyce Patrick; and grandfather, Neville Patrick.

His memory will forever be treasured by his wife of nine and a half years, Ebonie M. Fraser; sons, Anthony and Oliver Fraser; father, Roland Dow; brother, Trevon Dow; aunts and uncles, Gurmay Fraser, Orin Fraser, Beverly Fraser, Lyndon (Euphresia) Patrick, Joslyn Patrick; mother-in-law, Barbara McCollum; father-in-law, Joseph McCollum; goddaughter, Jada Hunter-Hays; Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. (Tau Delta Delta 98’); in-law sisters and brother, nieces and nephews, cousins, and so many special friends.
