Otis Pugh

Otis Pugh, 78, entered into rest on the afternoon of Monday, October 24, 2016.

Otis was born in Live Oak, Florida to the late George and Silvia Pugh on October 17, 1938. He attended Eighth Day Church. A truck driver for Amoco Oil and owner of a lawn care service, Mr. Pugh loved the Lord and time spent with family and friends. He also enjoyed fishing and spending time under the tree.

In addition to his parents, Otis was also preceded in death by his children, Gerald and Tonya Gillis; brothers, Willie James Pugh and Jimmy Pugh; and sisters, Geneva Walker Pugh and Maebelle Pugh.

His memory will forever be treasured by his devoted wife of 44 years, Katherine Pugh of Warner Robins; children, Silvia Pugh of Warner Robins, Yvonne and Natalie Pugh, both of Orlando, Florida, Geanette Armstrong of Orlando, Florida, Wanda Holden (Pastor Ray Holden) of Lake Placid, Florida, Reginal Gillis (Adia) of Orlando, Florida, Otis Pugh, Jr. (Chenita) of Pembrook Pines, Florida, and Stephen Gillis (Norma) of Orlando, Florida; special child, A'Lexis Williams and best friend, Arthur Williams III, both of Warner Robins; godchild, Brandy Amos of Orlando, Florida; sister, Essie Mae Bellamy of Fitzgerald; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service to celebrate Mr. Pugh's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 30th in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Pastor David Brinson officiating. The family will receive friends at The Farmhouse at McCullough Funeral Home following the service. Mr. Pugh's burial will be private at the family's request.
