Pastor Samuel Paul, 68, was called to the Lord on Thursday, March 16, 2017.

Pastor Paul was born on May 17, 1948, in Coimbatore, India to the late P.K. and Mariamma Paul. In the late 1990s, he moved to the United States with his family, but never lost his passion to carry on the gospel work they began in India. Most of his life was spent in India where he and his wife Mary pioneered several churches in Tamil Nadu, pioneered and pastored the first Pentecostal church in Podanur, and ministered among children who were in need. They also ministered in Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, and Arabic countries. Pastor Paul's last few years were spent working in the city of Coimbatore, India. Ministering across the globe, he touched thousands of lives.

Samuel's memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Mary Samuel of Lawrenceville; daughter, Blossom Vinson (Will) of Warner Robins; sons, Blesson Samuel of San Francisco, California and Bensson Samuel (Magda) of Barbeau, Michigan; grandchildren, Liam, Eva, Anaiah, and Rielle Vinson, and Jovan, Kailah, and Rayna Samuel; brother, Pastor John Paul (Annamma) of Coimbatore, India.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 1st at Christ Chapel Sports Town, 170 Starcadia Circle, Macon, with visitation following the service. Burial will be private.
