Patricia Ann Mcdaniel

July 20, 1946 — July 25, 2021

Patricia Ann McDaniel passed into the hands of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on the morning of Sunday, July 25, 2021, at the age of 75. She was born in Macon, Georgia, on July 20, 1946, one of five daughters to the late Hubert A. and Mary Adell Williams Mask and was of the Baptist faith.

A faithful wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker, Patricia’s family was her number one priority throughout her life. She was a wonderful cook and specialized in making pork chops, red velvet cake and cheesecake; her family’s mouths were sure to water when they found out those items were on the menu. Patricia was known for being outgoing and never met a stranger. She always looked forward to visiting friends in the neighborhood. Patricia loved being outside and enjoyed flowers, gardening, fishing, and camping. When she was not enjoying the outdoors, you could find her reading Better Homes and Gardens magazine or anything about flowers. Patricia was also an avid ‘Golden Girls’ and Elvis Presley fan.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, James Edward McDaniel; and sisters, Carrie Turner, Dena Dowdy and Wanda Jordan.

She is survived by her loving children, Steven Massey (Eva) of Gray, Alexander Massey (Alesia) of Bonaire, Joseph Massey II of Centerville and Tammy Moore (Dennis) of Summerville, South Carolina; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and sister, Mary Ellen Bagley.

Patricia’s family will receive friends on Thursday, July 29, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 30, 2021, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, with Reverend Gene Saunders officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Patricia to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Dr., Warner Robins, GA 31088.

For friends unable to attend at this time, the service will be streamed live via the McCullough Funeral Home Facebook page at www.facebook.com/mcculloughfuneralhome/live/.
