Patricia "Meme" Grant Cranford

Patsy Cranford, 77, walked through Heaven's gate on Monday, November 7, 2016.

Patsy was born on June 1, 1939 in Newry, South Carolina. Along with her family, she moved to Warner Robins in the 1940's when Robins Air Force Base opened. Patsy was a graduate of the Warner Robins High School class of 1958. She was a devoted wife and mother who took pride in caring for the needs of her family. Patsy had a zest for life that was contagious and loved to spend time shopping or playing with her children, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren. Family was always her first and very highest priority. She will be truly missed by everyone who was blessed to know her and to have had her share a part in their lives.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husbands, CMSgt.James F. Grant, USAF (Ret.) and James C. Cranford; father, Carl Putnam; mother, Margaret Savage; step-father, B.H. Savage and sister, Brenda Brawley.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Kathy Willoughby of Warner Robins; Jimmy Grant (Cathy) of Milledgeville; Tracy Grant Davis (Ken) of Cottageville, South Carolina; James Patrick "J.P." Grant (Deni) of Jacksonboro, South Carolina; 5 grandchildren, Mandy Goodrich Stella (Joey), Brandi Goodrich, and Judy Goodrich Jordan (Bo) all of Warner Robins; Dustin Grant of Milledgeville; Kevin Moore of Jacksonville, Florida, Yafet Arias; 10 great-grandchildren, Michael and Abigail Cain; Tyler, Tanyon, and Talon Stella; Will, Kaylee, and Jayden Jordan; Genevive and Adaline Moore of Jacksonville; brothers, Kenneth "Wayne" Savage (Karen) of Eufaula, Alabama; Peewee Putnam of Belton, South Carolina; Tim, Eddie and Mike Putnam, all of Seneca, South Carolina; several nieces and nephews, as well as her best friend of 57 years, Linda Jordan Williamson of Crawford County.
