Patricia "Pat" Ann Pierce

June 9, 1959 — January 23, 2022

A strong, caring, and loving woman, Patricia “Pat” Ann Pierce passed away at her residence on Sunday, January 23, 2022. She was 62 years old.

The daughter of the late Jerrell Roy and Dorothy Ann Danduran Brownlee, Pat was born on June 9, 1959, in Salina, Kansas. She was fiercely devoted to her family and enjoyed raising two children while supporting her husband’s 27-year career with the military. Pat always gave her children her undivided attention and attended all of their school activities. She was a wonderful, great mother. During that time, they traveled the world and visited 48 of the 50 United States. They moved to multiple states to include Alaska and Florida, before settling in Georgia. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was a member of the Officer’s Wives Club on many bases.

For the past 20 years, Pat served as an Administrative Assistant for the Houston County Board of Education. Most recently, she worked at Bonaire Middle School. Pat loved her career and was elected as the Administrative Assistant of the Year in 2021. She enjoyed working with children and was an angel on earth. She always treated others kindly and would truly do anything for anyone in need.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her adoring husband of 42 years, Mark William Pierce; sons, William “Bill” Roy Pierce and Benjamin “Ben” Franklin Pierce; siblings, Laura Ravenscroft of Great Falls, Montana; Lillian Waniata of Kalispell, Montana; Barbara Elia of Clearwater, Florida; Rodger Brownlee of Great Falls, Montana; as well as several extended family members and friends; three dogs, “Roxi,” “Dixie,” and “Jeezy” and two cats, “Missy” and “Misty.”
