Patricia Rose Chappell "Pat" Bowlin

Patricia "Pat" Bowlin, 76, died at home on Monday, December 15, 2014.

Pat was born in Boston on December 4, 1938 to the late Roy William and Irene Kelley Rose. For 30 years, she worked in Item Management at Robins Air Force Base before retiring. Pat had always led a very active life and was involved in various organizations. She was a much-loved member of Cross Point Baptist Church, Houston Lake Country Club and two Red Hat Societies. Pat was an avid golfer, as well, and enjoyed playing and participating in tournaments in various locations. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Pat was predeceased by her husband, Robert Bowlin, Sr.; parents; brother, Roy William "Bill" Rose, Jr.; brother-in-law, Hugh O'Dell; and sister, Mary Ann Clark.

Pat's memory will forever be treasured by her loving daughters, Teri Gernstein of Plattsmouth, Nebraska, Karen Kitchens (Tommy) of Bonaire; sons, Tim Chappell-Trani (Patrick) of Boston and Kenneth Chappell of Seattle; stepchildren, Connie Renner (Pete) of Perry and Bob Bowlin, Jr. (Dell) of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Brad Gernstein (Megan), Brian (Lauren), Zack and Kelsey (Tyler) Kitchens, Steve Renner and Emily Bowlin; great-grandchild, Alyssa Gernstein; sister, Jan O'Dell of Augusta and numerous nieces, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 18, 2014, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Cross Point Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the church. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given In Memory of Patricia Bowlin to Robins Air Force Base Museum of Aviation, P.O. Box 2469, Warner Robins, GA 31099, a special place of her and her late husband's.
