Patty Evans

Patricia Evans, 51, entered into rest August 12, 2008. Mrs. Evans was born in West Palm Beach, Florida, on March 17, 1957. Previously employed at Zantop, she retired from Robins Air Force Base as a sheet metal mechanic. She enjoyed arts and crafts and collected Barbie dolls. Her father, Walter Burton, preceded her in death.

Family members treasuring her memory are her husband, Jackie R. Evans; mother, Mary L. Burton; son, Phillip Astumian, Bakersfield, California; daughter, Crystal Johnson (Chad); stepson , Jeffery Evans (Carolyn), Warner Robins; grandchildren, Halie Bowden, Sutton and Jayden Astumian, Ryan Adams, Alyssa and Brittney Johnson, and Gabriel Evans; sisters, Ruthie Hunt, Thomasville, Frances (Rita) Kitchens, Georgetown, South Carolina, and Sandy Hunnicutt, Indianapolis, Indiana; several nieces ad nephews; and her companion dog, Loving Lady.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 14, 2008, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 15, 2008, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Reverend Todd Shearin officiating; interment will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be given to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins GA 31088.
