Paul Rice

Paul Rice, 66, entered into rest on Saturday, October 28, 2017.

Paul was born on January 15, 1951 in Toccoa, Georgia to the late Clarence and Ruth Rice. Born and raised in Toccoa, Paul graduated from Stephens County High School in 1969. He worked for the railroad as a Track Supervisor, until his retirement, after thirty-three years of dedicated service. Paul enjoyed woodworking and landscaping but mostly, he loved spending time with his amazing wife, children, grandchildren and other family.

Paul is preceded in death by his brother Dennis Rice.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of forty-eight years, Carolyn G. Rice of Toccoa; children, Bryan Rice (Glee) of Valdosta, Jennifer Thomas (Andy) of Warner Robins and Steven Rice (Kristy) of Swoyersville, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Alice, Elizabeth and Mary Margaret Thomas and Ayden and Garrett Rice; sisters, Linda Carroll (Jerry) and Lorretta Shuler (Jim); brother, Bruce Rice (Susan); sisters-in-law, Gwen Finley (Milton), Kathy Hunt (Donnie) and Candy Addison (Tony); and several nieces and nephews.

At the family’s request, all services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made in honor of Paul Rice to your favorite charity.

McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with Mr. Rice’s arrangements.
