Paul William Mcintyre, Sr.

In the early morning hours of January 28, Mr. Paul McIntyre, Sr. died peacefully at his home surrounded by his beloved family. Born in Unadilla, Georgia, he was the son of the late Alonzo and Agnes McIntyre. With great honor and pride Paul enlisted in the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War.
In the years following his Army service, Paul was a musician and primarily played bass guitar for various bands, including those from his teenage years, and most notably Hook Line & Sinker, and finishing his career with Big Mike and the Booty Papa's. He enjoyed jamming and recording music with fellow musicians. Paul also enjoyed the shows that they performed, collecting music, and musical instruments. However, his greatest joy was found in family and most particularly in being an adoring grandpa to his seven beloved grandchildren.
Along with his parents, his brother, Jerry McIntyre; and sister, Brenda Harth; preceded him in death.
Paul's memory will forever be treasured by his sons, Paul McIntyre, Jr. (Ashley Solano) of Hawkinsville; Matthew McIntyre and Christopher McIntyre (Brittney McIntyre), all of Warner Robins; daughter, Jenny Jones of Gray; stepson, Joseph Davis; grandchildren, Elijah Saunders, Hope McIntyre, Dana McIntyre, Camden McIntyre, Anna McIntyre, Audrie Hatten, Wyatt Hatten; siblings, James McIntyre (Judy), Patricia Chamlee (Bob), Mary Smith (Terry), Katherine Jones (Charles); sister-in-law, Donna McIntyre; brother-in-law, Ray Harth; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
A memorial service to celebrate Paul's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 31, 2016 in the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
The family will accept flowers or suggests memorial donations be made in memory of Paul McIntyre, Sr. to either Homestead Hospice, 500 Osigian Blvd, Warner Robins, Ga 31088 or the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street Suite A, Macon, Ga 31201.
