Paula Jean Burton

Paula Burton, 55, entered into rest on October 17, 2013, following a courageous battle with COPD.

Mrs. Burton was born on January 8, 1958, in Anderson, South Carolina. After moving to Warner Robins from Savannah, Paula graduated from Warner Robins High School in 1976. She earned her cosmetology license and worked as a hairdresser in Warner Robins. A collector of Stephen King hardback books, she also loved animals and decorating her yard for the enjoyment of others during the holidays. Paula was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church. Failing to mention that she was a huge Elvis fan starting when she was just a toddler would be a disservice to her memory. Her parents, Grady Eugene and Ruth King Sisk, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of nineteen years, Jerry D. Burton of Warner Robins; sister, Karen Sisk of Warner Robins; aunt, Virginia Cordell of Anderson, South Carolina; and several cousins.

A Memorial Gathering for family and friends will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at 213 Kingsbury Circle in Warner Robins.
