Pauline Ingeborg Smith

Pauline Ingeborg Smith, 95, entered into rest on Tuesday, May 19, 2015.

Pauline was born on March 19, 1920 in Auingen, Germany and was of the Protestant faith. She was a school teacher for several years before owning and operating The Gift Shop in Warner Robins. In her retirement, Pauline enjoyed reading and crocheting.

Her beloved husband of 60 years, Robert Eugene Smith; parents, Gottlob and Margarete Gerstenmaier Schaefer; and siblings, Paul Schaefer and Ruth Sowlier, preceded her in death.

Pauline's memory will forever be treasured by her loving daughters, Roberta Wilson (Glenn) of Warner Robins, Georgia, Carmen McCarthy of Woodstock, Georgia, and Hannelore Nonnast (Klaus) of Neuhausen, Germany; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given to The Wounded Warrior Project at 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256.
