Pearl I. Prince

Pearl I. Prince, 93, entered into rest on Thursday, November 21, 2013.

Pearl was born on December 13, 1919 in Bolingbroke, Georgia to the late Brice R. and Ida Mae Peck Ivester. She retired from Robins Air Force Base after many years of Civil Service. Pearl was an avid Atlanta Braves fan and was devoted to her family. Her children and grandchildren were the pride and joy of her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin W. Prince; her sister, Eleanor Hortman; one grandchild; one great-grandchild; and her parents. The morning after Pearl passed away, her eldest son, William Melton Prince, joined her in Heaven.

Pearl's memory will forever be treasured by her children, Theo Prince (Jan) and Marsha Prince Peyton, both of Warner Robins, Georgia; daughter-in-law, Mary Prince of Carnesville, Georgia; ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Gussie Griffin of Macon, Georgia; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all of her caregivers and the staff at Kingsford Assisted Living and Heart of Georgia Hospice for their professional and loving care.

Visitation will be Monday, November 25, 2013, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with entombment following in Magnolia Park Mausoleum. The family will accept flowers or donations may be given to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Dr., Warner Robins, GA 31088 or to Susan G. Komen for the Cure – Central GA Affiliates, 277 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Suite 101, Macon, GA 31201.
