Peggy Leverett Murphy

Peggy Murphy, 53, passed away at home on Tuesday, September 11, 2018.

Born on November 10, 1964, Peggy was a lifelong resident of Warner Robins and graduated with Northside High School’s Class of 1983. She recently retired from Civil Service with 34 years as a business analyst. Peggy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and breast cancer survivor. Her strength, determination, and deep love for her family will always live in the hearts of all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Judy I. Leverett; a grandson, Devin Michael Day; and a nephew, Caleb Leverett.

Peggy’s memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of 17 years, Brian Murphy of Warner Robins; children, Matthew Ryan Day of Warner Robins, Amy Day-Eddy of Macon, Caitlyn Murphy and Robert Cole Murphy, both of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Jaxson Elliott and Abigale Murphy; father, Dewey Rogers Leverett, Sr. of Warner Robins; brother, Dewey Rogers Leverett, Jr. of Warner Robins; nephew, Corey Leverett; and niece, Nina Leverett.

The family will receive friends for a visitation on Friday, September 14, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. At the family’s request, burial will be private.

McCullough Funeral Home has the privilege of being entrusted with Mrs. Murphy’s arrangements.
