Phillip Terry

Phillip Edward Terry, Sr. “Pop Pop”, age 56, passed away on November 29, 2020 at Augusta University Medical Center.

An avid mechanic, Phillip also worked as a plumber, a cook, and construction. His passion was for fast cars. He was a fan of motorcycles and hot rods. He was a doting father and grandfather who loved listening to music.

He was born on March 21, 1964 to the late Willie E. Terry and Myrtle Terry in Goochland, Virginia. Phillip was recently reunited with his birth family, parents, John Edward (Pully) and Ethel, and he was thrilled to discover them.

His memory will forever be cherished by his wife of 30 years, Amy Terry of Macon; children, Jennifer Leigh Terry Trainham, Brittany Lynn Terry Amoroso (Carmen), Phillip “P.J.” Edward Terry, Jr., William Travis Terry, Caleb Asher Trainham, and Aaron James Trainham; grandchildren, Rhiannon Leigh Trainham, Nicholas Amoroso, Julianna Amoroso, Ashlin Terry, and Brayden Terry; very close friends, Jerry Patterson, Amanda Thomas, and Ashley Murton; as well as his birth family.

Per the family’s request, the services for Phillip will be private.
