Phyllis Ann Peters Easley

Phyllis Anne Peters Easley died on the evening of December 14, 2020, after complications from a fall.

She was born December 16, 1940, in Mattoon, Illinois, to Bert Arnold Peters and Mary Lou Hornbrook Peters. As a child, the family moved to Kansas City, Kansas, where she attended school. She married Ted V. Brown and they had a son, Theodore. They later divorced and she married Marvin Easley and had a daughter, Ellen Marie Pauline. While in Kansas City, Phyllis owned and operated Pick’s Cafe. They later moved to Pittsburg, Missouri, where she worked as a grocery clerk at Five Star. Later in life she moved to Warner Robins to be closer to her sister.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her children, and her husband.

She is survived by her sister Mary Pennington of Georgia; grandson, Ted Brown of Missouri, three great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Per the family’s request, services will be private.
