Phyllis Ann Wilson

December 2, 1924 — July 22, 2017

Phyllis Wilson, 92, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2017, at the Brookdale Senior Center in Macon, Georgia after an extended illness. She was a long time resident of Warner Robins.

Mrs. Wilson was born on December 2, 1924 in Red Oak, Iowa to the late William and Frances Anderson. She was a devoted wife and mother, excellent homemaker and cook, as well as a loving grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, sister, and aunt. In her spare time, Phyllis enjoyed golfing and anything that involved spending time with her beloved family. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Colonel Nelton R. Wilson, infant daughter, Cynthia, twin brothers, Robert and William Anderson, and sisters, Rosemary, Verna, Patricia, and Marian.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her two sons, Stephen R. Wilson (Patricia) of Warner Robins, and Thomas M. Wilson (Annette) of Griffin. In addition, she leaves seven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren plus one on the way, and two great great grandchildren plus one on the way.

A private Inurnment will be held where Phyllis will be laid to rest next to her husband in Andersonville National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Phyllis Ann Wilson to First United Methodist Church, 205 N. Davis Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31093.
