Phyllis Lovan Thiele

Phyllis Lovan Thiele, 74, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2005. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 29, 2005 at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church. Interment at Appleton Highland Memorial Park in Appleton, Wisconsin will be private. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at McCullough Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, 336 Carl Vinson Parkway, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088.

Phyllis was born on September 1, 1931 in Erie, Michigan and resided in Warner Robins, Georgia. Phyllis's legacy is her caring and compassion for all people. Mom loved to give and she gives all the credit for this passion to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Phyllis was a member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church and a leader of a Christ Cares group. She graduated from Concordia Teachers College in River Forest, Illinois; she devoted her life to her husband and children and continued teaching and caring at every opportunity the Lord gave her.

Phyllis is survived by her dear friend Dave Harter her children David (Patricia); Susan Hartzheim (Michael); Mark (Becky); Karen; Michael (Kelly); her sister Doris Schulz (Edmund); nine grandchildren, Joshua, Lisa, Joel, Michael, Amanda, Steven, Matthew, Lauren, and Justin: and one grandchild on the way; and Katrine who was like a daughter. The grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
