Prentiss Alonzo Owens

Prentiss Alonzo Owens, 82, entered into rest on Sunday, January 23, 2011.

Mr. Owens was born on September 20, 1928 in Wheeler, Mississippi. With pride and honor, he served his country in the United States Air Force and United States Army, participating in World War II. He later retired from Robins Air Force Base working as a Supply Specialist in civil service. His parents, Alonzo Enis Owens and Isabelle Barnett Owens, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his daughter, Michelle "Missy" Owens, Warner Robins; grandchildren, Casey Owens and Arley Peace; and brothers, Plymouth Owens, Texas, and Jack Owens, Florida.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 26, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at Magnolia Park Cemetery.
