RM1 Linda Gail Buchanan, U.S. Navy (Ret), 54, entered into rest on Sunday, October 16, 2011.

Linda was born on May 20, 1957 in Roanoke, Virginia. A retired veteran of the United States Navy, she was a loving wife, daughter, sister, and aunt. She was also of the Baptist faith.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband of sixteen years, Daniel Paul Buchanan of Warner Robins; parents, Donald and Maryanne Trent of Virginia; brother, Donnie Trent (Janie); father-in-law and mother-in-law, Paul and Ceil Buchanan of Warner Robins; sister-in-law, Kary Eddins; nieces and nephews, Michelle Eddins, Brooke Scoggins, Kennon Eddins, and Jessie Trent; and kitty cats, Pookie, Cee Cee, String Bean, and Rocky.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 19, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on October 20, 2011 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to the Humane Society of Houston County, P.O. Box 9588, Warner Robins, GA 31095, or to the Cancer Care Center, 114 Sutherlin Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
