April 3, 1983 — February 15, 2014

Rachel Elizabeth Delisle, 30, died Saturday, February 15, 2014 in a tragic motor vehicle accident.

She was born in Warner Robins, Georgia to Jeffrey Simon and Elizabeth Logue Tuinstra. Rachel graduated from Appling County Comprehensive High School in Baxley, Georgia, and then as an Honor Graduate from Waycross College in Waycross, Georgia. She was married to 1st Lt. Jason Robert Delisle, USMC.
She is also survived by her devoted sons, Michael Simon, Jason Robert Delisle, Jr., and Gabriel Cato; her beloved sister, Katie Tuinstra of Statesboro, Georgia.; her maternal grandparents, Edward and Mary Frances Logue of Byron, Georgia; and her paternal grandparents, George and Ingrid Tuinstra of Grand Rapids, Michigan; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and her best friend, Tara Linebarger.

She was a member of Centerville United Methodist Church in Warner Robins, Georgia, and in Jacksonville, North Carolina she and her family attended Trinity United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 21, 2014 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery.

A Memorial Fund has been set up for her three children at Marine Federal Credit Union, Jacksonville, North Carolina.
