Ralph Prather

On the morning of Friday, March 23, 2018, Ralph Prather, 49, went to be with the Lord.

Ralph was born on October 28, 1968 in Canton, Ohio to the late Ralph and Debbie Vess Prather. He worked for U.S. Express as a truck driver for many years. Ralph was a member of Louisville Baptist Church in Louisville, Ohio. His family was always his highest priority, time spent with them and his friends made his life complete. Ralph will always be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of almost 25 years, Theresa Prather of Macon; children, Joseph Ansell of Canton, Ohio, Sean Ansell of Robertsville, Ohio, Patrick Ansell of Canton, Ohio, Adam Ansell of Macon, Georgia, Jessie Prather of Louisville, Ohio, Matthew Prather of Alliance, Ohio, Brandon Prather of Macon, Georgia; sixteen grandchildren; brothers, Mark Prather of E. Canton, Ohio, Douglas Hawker of E. Canton, Ohio; 2 aunts; 1 uncle, and beloved dog, Zelda.

A memorial service to celebrate Ralph’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the Sanctuary Church of God in East Canton, Ohio. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary.
