Ressie Mae Rowell

Ressie Mae Rowell, 80, entered into rest on Sunday, December 2, 2012.

Mrs. Rowell was born on April 23, 1932 in Macon County, Georgia. She was of the Baptist faith. Ressie and her family made their home in Warner Robins in 1974. She worked at Robins Air Force Base for five years. Mrs. Rowell was a wonderful, loving homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her loving family, especially on camping and fishing trips. She loved her pets dearly and enjoyed planting flowers and cooking. Her parents, Joseph Felton Cummings and Nettie Jane Kersey Cummings, three brothers and one sister, all preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her beloved husband of sixty-four years, Floyd Daniel Rowell, Warner Robins; children, William Felton Rowell (Venice), Eatonton; Dannie Rowell Craig, Bluette Cummings Rowell, Sr. (Ramona), all of Warner Robins; brother, Marshall Gary Cummings, Jones County; grandchildren, Michael Rowell (Amanda), Daniel Rowell, Bluette Rowell, Jr., Georgia Rowell, Donnie P. Rowell, Gail Rowell, Danielle Brown Watkins, Miranda Brown Riley (Jon); step grandchildren, Melissa Hensley, Chasity Mashburn (Jim), Lisa Hensley, Tiffany Hensley; fourteen great grandchildren, and six step great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, December 7, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 8, 2012 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with entombment following in Magnolia Park Mausoleum. Flowers will be accepted or the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to Heart of Georgia Inpatient Hospice, 1120 Morningside Drive, Perry, Georgia 31069 or to the Alzheimer's Association, 886 Mulberry Street, Macon, Georgia 31201.
