Rex Vester Fowler

A man with a larger-than-life personality and a natural born prankster, Rex Vester Fowler was embraced by his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, December 21, 2021. He was 61 years old.

Rex was the son of the late Cecil Menzo and Roberta Foskey Fowler. He was born on March 12, 1960, in Dublin, Georgia. Rex served the City of Milledgeville as a Water Treatment Operator for several years until his retirement. He absolutely loved being retired; especially when he was able to spend time enjoying the natural beauty of Lake Sinclair with his dog “Magic.” His fantastic sense of humor and his love of life will be forever treasured by all.

In addition to his parents, Rex was preceded in death by his brother, Randy Fowler.

Rex is survived by his brother, Roger Fowler (Kathy) of Bonaire; lifetime friend, Danny Bridier; and his precious dog, “Magic.”

At the family’s request, all services held will be private.
