Rhoda Plaspohl

Rhoda Plaspohl, 83, entered into rest on Monday, April 14, 2014.

Rhoda was born on November 1, 1930 in Savannah, Georgia to the late Charles Joseph and Nina Greeno West. She was an honor student at Commercial High School and retired from Hughes Honda as a Comptroller. Rhoda loved shopping, riding motorcycles and UGA Football. Her parents and sister, Maxine McBride, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of sixty-three years, William Archie Plaspohl of Bonaire, Georgia; daughters, Vicki P. Cleghorn (Ricky) of Kathleen, Georgia and Pamela A. Julson (Rick) of Warner Robins, Georgia; grandchildren, Chad Cleghorn (Brandee) of Bonaire, Georgia, Seth Keene (Laci) of Fayetteville, North Carolina, and Shayne and Tyler Julson, both of Warner Robins, Georgia; great-grandchildren, Baylee and Casen Cleghorn and Jayden Keene; siblings, Donna Shepard of Charleston, South Carolina, and Joseph West and Preston West (Agnes), both of Savannah, Georgia; and beloved pets, Buster and Smokie.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 15, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah, Georgia with interment immediately following.
