Richard Carl Anderson

Richard Anderson, 62, went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 19, 2016.

Richard was born on September 25, 1954 in Rome, Georgia to the late R.C. and Lillian Young Anderson. A successful construction worker by trade, he worked for Walker Concrete Company, Trendco Vick Supply Company, and for the last six years, Atlanta Sand and Supply Company. Richard was a skilled woodworker, an avid fisherman, and a John Deere enthusiast who collected all kinds of items. Believers Sanctuary in Macon was his church home.

He leaves his memory behind with his devoted wife of 38 years, Jeannie Knox Anderson of Fort Valley; children, Tiffany Walker (Jordan) of Fort Valley, Samantha Knipper (Ben) of Jackson, and Savanna Anderson of Fort Valley; grandchildren, Levi Walker, Ezra Knipper, and Sophia Walker; sister, Linda Anderson of Gainesville; and aunt, Rita Montgomery (Ray) of Cartersville.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 22nd in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Pastor Mark Ramsingh will officiate. After the service, Richard will be laid to rest in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
