Richard "Rick" Skinner

January 29, 1967 — November 4, 2021

Richard Gaines “Rick” Skinner passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at the age of 54.

Born on January 29, 1967 in Florence, South Carolina, Rick was the son of Bobby B. Skinner and the late Martha Johnson Skinner. An avid hunter and fisherman, when he wasn’t in the woods or on the river, Rick could be found in his shop. A jokester at heart, Rick was known for his ability to make people laugh. A very selfless person, everything Rick did, he did for his friends and family. He adored the time he spent with his nine grandchildren.

In addition to his mother, Rick was preceded in death by his first wife, Sharon Skinner; former father-in-law, Wayne Stinson; and grandfather, Gaines Johnson.

Those left to cherish Rick’s memory are his wife, Terri Bradshaw Skinner; father, Bobby Bishop Skinner; sons, Austin Skinner (Victoria) and Justin Skinner (Leah); daughter, Kaylee Graves (Chris) and Lindsey Marshall; grandmother, Ruby Genelle Johnson; brother, Joey Skinner (Robin); nephews, Steel Skinner and Caz Skinner (Lindsey); mother and father-in-law, Larry and Kay Bradshaw; former mother-in-law, June Stinson; grandchildren, Everly Skinner, Ridge Skinner, Paxton Graves, Bralen Graves, Kyleigh Winslett, Kacen Winslett, Madison Gibson, McKenzie Winslett, and Leelynn Winslett; great niece, Ava Saylors; great nephews, Bo and Wyatt Skinner; step sons, Kenny Winslett (Brooke) and Jamie Winslett (Amber); and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins as well as sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 8, 2021, at Lighthouse Baptist Church with the service immediately following visitation at the church. Pastor Tim Sizemore will officiate the service. Rick will be laid to rest at Macon Memorial Park at a private graveside service. For friends unable to attend at this time, the service will be streamed live via the Lighthouse Baptist Church's Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LighthouseBaptistChurchofMidGa.
