Robert F. Thompson, Jr.

Bob Thompson, 61, entered into rest on Sunday, March 23, 2008.

Mr. Thompson was born on December 28, 1946 in Americus, Georgia. He was a Certified Public Accountant, and senior partner of Thompson, Davis, and Hogan CPA. He also was involved in several civic organizations in Warner Robins including the Warner Robins Chamber of Commerce, where he held various offices; the Thunderbird District of Boy Scouts, where he served as president; the Houston County Hospital Board; the Board of Museum of Aviation; and the Rotary Club, where he served as Treasurer and President. He was a member of Harvest Church. He was very dedicated to his profession and his family, who will miss him dearly. His parents, Robert F. Thompson, Sr. and Allie Inez Thompson, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his loving wife of thirty-five years, Claire J. Thompson, Warner Robins; daughter, Marilyn Thompson Flynn, Warner Robins; sister, Anna Belle Thompson, Americus; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Harvest Church with a visitation at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be at Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorial donations given to Harvest Church Building Fund, 3322 Highway 41 North, Byron, GA 31008.
