Robert Monroe Abner

Robert Abner, 60, entered into rest on Saturday, November 2, 2013.

Mr. Abner was born on September 13, 1953 in Raleigh, North Carolina. With pride and honor he served his country in the United States Air Force. His parents, Basil and Maryanne Abner and grandson, Joshua Nelson, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife Rebecca Abner; children, Christina Abner Nelson, Michelle Abner; both of Kathleen and Stephanie DeJesus (Luis); Ocala, Florida; grandchildren, Brittany Abner, Montrell Phillips, Jaclyn Nelson, Danielle Nelson, Jessica Nelson, Katelin Villarreal, Michael Abner, James Abner, Nikole DeJesus and Regina DeJesus; great-grandchildren, Terrell, TJ, Milan, Jesinya and JR.; siblings, Bill Abner (Beverly), McDonough; and Barbara Norred (Tommy), Jackson; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 5, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 in the chapel of Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
