Warner Robins – Mr. Robert W. Bird passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2003 in Dublin, GA. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 21 in Andersonville National Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at McCullough Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Georgia Chapter, 12 Perimeter Center East, Suite 1200, Atlanta, GA 30346.

MSgt Bird was born in Charlestown, OH. He was retired from the United States Air Force having served in Korea and Vietnam and was also retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base. MSgt Bird was a member of First Baptist Church in Leeds, Alabama, and the Disabled American Veterans. His parents, Herbert and Estelle Bird, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Carol J. Bird, Warner Robins; daughter, Cindy Bird, Warner Robins; son, Vernon A. Bird, Warner Robins; granddaughters, Summer Rae Browning, Byron; and Amanda Walk, Haddock; brothers, Pete Bird, Ocean View, DE; and Dick Bird, Atlanta.
