Roger Dale White

Roger Dale White, 68, entered into rest on Saturday, February 15, 2014.

Roger was born on September 12, 1945 in Franklin, Georgia. He was of the Baptist faith. In 1966 Roger graduated from University of Georgia where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Journalism. He then went to work as Editor of the Hartwell Sun in Hartwell, Georgia and various other newspapers around Georgia. Roger retired from Midway Recovery Systems where he worked as a Substance Abuse Counselor. He also worked for the American Red Cross. His parents, John Thomas White and Dorenia Lankford White, son, Joshua Simon White, and one sister, all preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his son, Jesse Christopher White (Marcherita), Warner Robins, and granddaughter, Teagan Monroe White.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given to the American Red Cross, 346 Corder Road, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088.
