June 25, 1991 — May 4, 2022

Rogers Lwenduru Kyaruzi, 30, died on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 in Atlanta, Georgia. Rogers was born on June 25, 1991 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania to Rosemary Papadopulos and Simon Kyaruzi.

In 2001, Rogers and his mother moved to the United States of America to join their new family in Warner Robins, Georgia. He graduated from Northside High School and Central Georgia Technical College where he majored in computer networking.

Rogers always had a mind for business and by age 23, he became a full-time entrepreneur, creating a successful, video sharing website.

Rogers was an amazing father to his son, Raja. You could often find them out to eat, playing XBOX, PlayStation, riding on Raja’s ATV or at the gym where they both trained for jujitsu.

Rogers is survived by his wife, Niteecha Gill; son, Raja Kyaruzi; mother, Rosemary Yorke; stepfather, Justice Yorke; sisters, Myra Yorke, Agness Yorke, Maya Yorke and Miya Yorke; brother, Terrance Blakey; niece, Jazmyn Yorke; grandmother, Agnes Mbaga; aunt, Marina Papadopulos Juma; uncles, Ulysious Papadopulos and Costantine Papadopulos; mother-in-law, Carolyn Gill; and cousins, Shaffie, Thanos, Dimitry, Catherine, Takis, Zeus, Aristotle, Vassiliki, Tarasios, Precious, Verochka, Socrates, Vasilios, and Kalistos. He also leaves behind three brothers, James Kyaruzi, Edgar Kyaruzi and Edmund Kyaruzi; and a sister, Margaret Kyaruzi.

He was preceded in death by his father, Simon Kyaruzi and grandfather, Athanas Thanos Papadopulos.

Rogers was kind, fun, and full of life. He had a big heart and was very caring for his family and friends. He will be remembered for his laughter that made everyone laugh. We will miss him dearly.
