Ronald Melford Meador

On Thursday, August 12, 2021, Ronald Melford Meador went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in Heaven.

Born on May 23, 1935, in Alderson, West Virginia, Ronald was the son of the late Luther Clarence and Reba Bragg. As a young adult, he served in the United States Air Force before working at Kroger and then becoming a skilled Car Salesman. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing cards, and golfing. He was also an avid Atlanta Braves fan and a member of First Christian Church of Centerville. Above all, he loved his family dearly and lived a simple but full life.

In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his daughter, Jana Marie Bruner; and siblings, James Bragg and Lillian Kirby.

His memory will forever be treasured by his daughter, Rebecca Gates (Myles); son, Ronald B. Meador; son-in-law, Harry P. Bruner; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family members and friends.

A memorial service with Ronald’s family will be Saturday, August 28, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.
