Rosa Novelene Smith

Rosa Novelene Smith, 91, passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022.

Rosa was born on September 2, 1930, in Darlington, South Carolina to the late William and Rosa Johnson. A dedicated wife and mother, she took care of her beloved family and her home as a housewife for over sixty-six years. Rosa loved her family and traveling when time allowed.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her adoring husband of sixty-seven years, Arthur Owen Smith, Jr.; son, Gary Owen Smith; daughter in law, Shay Sales; granddaughter, Brittany Nicole Smith; grandson, Matthew Owen Smith; great grandchildren, Jaydon Peppers and Marleigh Smith and siblings, Alma Johnson Gilmore, Betty Lou Johnson Dorcey, Dorothy Johnson Sharpe and William Alldean Johnson.

Visitation with Rosa’s family will be Tuesday, February 1, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home with the memorial service celebrating her life following in the chapel.
