Rosalia ''Rose'' Mackowski

The world became a little less bright Wednesday, August 29, 2012, when Rosalia "Rose" Mackowski, currently residing in Warner Robins (formerly of Cleveland, Ohio), passed into eternity.

Rose was the loving and devoted wife of Emil Mackowski for fifty-six years and mother of Peter and Nicola (Jansen) Mackowski. She was born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada on January 13, 1931 to Theodore (Fred) and Catherine Nahirny, both Ukrainian Immigrants. Her love touched many and impacted even more. Her compassionate ways and loving heart will be truly missed. Rose was someone who left you with a good feeling every time you met her.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Nick Nahirny and sister, Olga (Steele) Nahirny. Rose is the grandmother of Ross and Daniel Mackowski (Peter and Diane Mackowski), and Stephanie and John Jansen (John and Nicola Jansen).

A brief memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. followed by a visitation with family until 5:00 p.m. in the worship center of First Baptist Church of Centerville, 108 Church Street, Centerville, GA.
