Rose Sagnibene

September 6, 1930 — April 26, 2020

At the age of 89, Rose Sagnibene passed away at Bolingreen Health and Rehabilitation on Sunday, April 26, 2020. The daughter of the late William and Charlie Mae Ramsey, Rose was a Middle Georgia native, born in Macon. She was extremely artistic and it showed through her work as a wedding consultant, cake decorator, reception coordinator, and an interior designer. She also owned and operated Ingleside Bridals and Formalwear in Macon. Rose was of the Baptist faith and a member of the J.C. Johnson Sunday school class at Mable White Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank Sagnibene, Sr.

Her memory will forever be cherished by her children, Frank Sagnibene, Jr. (Debbie) and Rev. Gary Sagnibene, all of Macon; grandchildren, Lesley Pecone, of Smyrna, and Meredith Minnick (Joel) and Nicholas Sagnibene, all of Macon; great-grandchildren, Alex, Catherine, Charles and David; and nephews, Timothy Ramsey of Tampa, Florida, and Phillip Ramsey of Warner Robins.

Due to the current statewide executive orders and overall guidance on gatherings as a result of Covid-19, and for the safety of friends and loved ones, the family will privately celebrate the life of Mrs. Sagnibere. Those who wish to attend the celebration of life, but are unable due to Covid-19 restrictions, may watch the live streaming of her service at McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory’s facebook page (www.facebook.com/mcculloughfuneralhome/live/) at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, May 1, 2020.

The family would like to mention and extend a very special thank you to Rose’s grandson, Nicholas Sagnibene for all of the care that he provided to Rose and Frank during the last years of their lives. Sadly, Nicholas will be unable to attend his grandmother’s service as he currently serving many others as a respiratory therapist at NYU Winthrop Hospital in Long Island, New York, during this ongoing battle against Covid-19.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Rose Sagnibene to Covenant Presbyterian Church, 1631 Green St., Warner Robins, Georgia 31093 or to the J.C. Johnson Sunday school class at Mable White Baptist Church, 1415 Bass Road, Macon, Georgia 31210.

McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with these arrangements.
