Roy E. Peters

Roy E. Peters, 86, entered into rest on Saturday, October 25, 2014.

Roy was born on June 4, 1928 in Byron, Georgia. He served his country in the United States Air Force during the World War II Era as a Corporal. Roy then went to work at Robins Air Force Base as a aircraft sheet metal mechanic where he retired after many years. In his free time he enjoyed riding motorcycles and flying radio control air planes.

His parents, Robert and Rosa Rape Peters, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his daughter, Janet Ellis (Wesley) of Hawkinsville; son, Kenny Peters (Misty) of Cordele; grandchildren, Christy McCranie, Eddie McCranie (Brandy), Beth Sabelko (Jeffery), Ashley Roberts, Alannah Peters, and Walker Peters; five great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 29, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 30, 2014 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Centerville Cemetery.
