Ruby J. Blossom

Ruby J. Blossom, 93, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, April 30, 2013.

Ruby was born on October 17, 1919 in Independence, Missouri and was a dedicated and wonderful homemaker. She was a devoted member of Green Acres Baptist Church and loved praising and living for God. Her husband, Taylor W. Blossom; daughter, Marilyn Washington; and parents, Lloyd Steele and Nettie Lemon Steele, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving children, Allen Blossom (Lib), Saraland, Alabama; Wanda Blossom Kelley (Ricky), Kathleen, Georgia; and son-in-law, Bill Washington, Pinetta, Florida; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; brother, Carl Steele (Beverly); twin sisters, Ethel Class and Edna Snook (Doug); and many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 2, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 3, 2013 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests that donations be made to Green Acres Baptist Church Building Fund, 901 Elberta Road, Warner Robins, GA 31093.
