Ruth V. Varner

Mrs. Ruth V. Varner passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2003 at the Peachbelt Nursing Center. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 11 at Westminster Presbyterian Church with a private interment to follow in Pennsylvania. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Hospice of Houston County, 103 Westridge Road, Warner Robins, GA, 31088 or to the charity of the donor’s choice.

Mrs. Varner was born in Thomas, West Virginia. She was retired and had been the co-owner of Lucille’s Beauty Shop in Brownsville, PA. She was of the Presbyterian faith. Her husband, Kent Varner, and parents, Clifford A. and Lucille D. Donalds, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her cousins, Sarah Harrison, Warner Robins; Sally and Jerry Reed, Warner Robins; Mark and Jody Reed, Norcross; James and Clara Winberg, Centerville; Roger and Cora Fasce, Roseville, MI; Barbara Kauffman, Fairfax, VA; Edith Kenniburg, Inkster, MI; Bob and Vera Robbens, Lake Charles, SC; and all their families.
