Sfc Robert Ernest Logue, U.S. Army (Ret.)

On the morning of Saturday, November 10, 2018, Robert E. Logue held hands again with his beloved wife of 56 years, Margot in heaven. He was 86.

The last of 12 living children to pass away, Robert was born in Lumber City, Georgia on August 8, 1932 to the late George D. and Jenny Varnadoe Logue. He was a proud 24-year United States Army Veteran who bravely served his country during the Korean and Vietnam Wars and occupied Germany. Robert retired from the Army in 1972 with the rank of Sergeant First Class. He was a member of the Classic Car Club in Macon.

His memory will forever be treasured by his remaining nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 15, 2018 in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville where he will be laid to rest with Full Military Honors.
