Smsgt. Douglas "Doug" Satterwhite, Usaf (Ret.)

June 19, 1942 — June 19, 2017

In the late night hours of Monday, June 19, 2017, Doug Satterwhite, passed away peacefully at home.

Doug was born on June 19, 1942 in Crozet, Virginia to the late Charles Satterwhite and Frances Harris Satterwhite. With great pride and honor, he served in the United States Air Force for over 24 and a half years including time served during the Vietnam War. Following his retirement in December of 1984, Doug worked 16 years in real estate; first with Buck Realty, then Century 21, and lastly Williams Realty. He was also a former member of the Warner Robins Lions Club.

Along with his parents, his brother, Charles Manley Satterwhite, Jr., preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of 43 years, Lisa Satterwhite of Kathleen; daughter, Kim Broach of Woodstock; grandson, Austin M., Logan J., and Zachary P. Broach; sisters, Violet Ann Shifflett and Frances Rose Via, both of Crozet, Virginia. He is also survived by 3 nieces and 6 nephews.

Visitation with Doug's family will be Friday, June 23, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.

McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with Mr. Satterwhite's arrangements.
