Smsgt. Fred J. Eastman, Usaf (Ret.)

Fred Eastman, 76, died on Saturday, September 24, 2016. He left this life as he lived most every day busy with his chores.

Fred was born on March 12, 1940 in Joy, Illinois to the late Fred and Dorothy Munson Eastman. He proudly served in the United States Air Force until his retirement. Fred then began his career in the F-15 Air Logistic Program at Robins Air Force Base. He was an avid outdoorsman and a member of the Slash Creek Hunting Club.

Along with his parents, his sister, Margorie Ann Eastman, and brother, Clarence 'Bud' Eastman (Marila) preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of 54 years, Vera Caryl Eastman of Warner Robins; two sons, Clinton R. Eastman of Alvaton, Carl L. Eastman of Warner Robins; granddaughter, Amanda D. Eastman (Cody), grandson, William David Youngblood, and their mother, Donna Mae Youngblood, all of Warner Robins; sister, Barbara Jean Johnson; nieces and nephews, Darla J. Shertz, James D. Eastman, Brian Eastman, Nancy Harland, and dear friends Oscar Bridges (Rita).

At the family's request all services will be private, and they may be contacted at the residence.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Fred J. Eastman to the Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Rd. Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256.
