Ssgt. Tom Zabel (U.S. Army, Ret.)

Tom Zabel, 45, entered into rest on September 7, 2008.

Mr. Zabel was born on February 18, 1963, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. With pride and honor he served his country in the U.S. Army, retiring as a Staff Sergeant. He was employed at CPR in carpet restoration and was an avid outdoorsman.

Family members include his wife, Kristy Layson Zabel, Lizella; parents, Richard Zabel and Carolyn Wagnor Zabel, Sheboygan; children, Joshua A. Zabel, Alexandria, Virginia, and Ashley Zabel, Marshallville; step-children, Nichole Anderson, Brittney, Sierria and Katlyn Bailey, Sheboygan; brothers Dave, Rod, Rick, Peter, Paul, Steve and Bobby Zabel, Sheboygan.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 12, 2008, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
